Watermelon Lemonade

This is a unique way to serve in-season watermelon!  1 cup Splenda® equals 1 cup sugar.  Splenda®  provides a much lower-calorie lemonade.  However, if you prefer sugar, it may be substituted.



3 pounds watermelon (without rind), seeded and cut into chunks

4 medium lemons

2 medium limes

4 cups cold water

1 cup Splenda®



Blend watermelon in blender for about 45 seconds or until smooth.  Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a 2-quart pitcher.  Squeeze juice from lemons and limes into the watermelon puree.  Stir in cold water and Splenda®.  Refrigerate 1 hour.  Stir before serving over ice. Garnish with a watermelon slice or a lemon slice.
