These treats can be shaped into little heart shapes for Valentine’s day. Serve with a small cup of milk for a great snack. This fun treat is a good source of fiber and protein.
Ingredients:
? cup honey
¼ cup crunchy peanut butter
2 tablespoons margarine
1 cup crispy rice cereal
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Directions:
Melt butter, honey, and peanut butter in a large saucepan. Stir well over medium heat until smooth. Remove from heat and add in the cereal, cranberries, oats and chocolate chips. Stir well until chocolate chips melt a bit. Scoop the mix into mini-muffin cups and refrigerate until set.
