Triple Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:

1-1/4 cups unsweetened almond milk

1 ripe frozen banana, sliced

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen blackberries

1 cup frozen raspberries

½ cup vanilla nonfat Greek yogurt

Honey to taste, if desired

Place all ingredients in a blender in the order listed:  almond milk, banana, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, yogurt, and honey (if desired).  Blend until smooth.

Tips:

This recipe makes 2 large smoothies.

Buy extra berries when they are in season, and freeze them to use in this recipe.

Use berry-flavored nonfat Greek yogurt for more berry flavor.

Adjust sweetness with honey (if you use a very ripe banana, you may not need much honey).

Add spinach or kale to boost the nutrition even more.
