Peach Surprise Smoothie

To freeze over-ripe bananas, peel and slice into 2 inch chunks. Place on wax paper and freeze in a single layer. Once frozen, put in freezer bag and use as needed in recipes. Using frozen fruit and veggies will make a cold, frosty smoothie. This smoothie has more than a full day’s serving of Vitamin A.

Ingredients:

1 medium banana

1 cup carrots, cooked

1 ½ cups frozen peaches

½ cup water or fruit juice

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth and serve!  Put leftovers in fridge or freezer. Makes 3 cups.
