Layered Strawberry Banana Smoothie

May is National Strawberry Month!  May 4th is Orange Juice day! This smoothie is packed with Vitamin C. Freeze fruit ahead of time to have a colder smoothie.

Ingredients:

Strawberry Layer:

1 ½ cups frozen strawberries

½ cup low-fat vanilla yogurt

Banana Layer:

2 bananas (frozen, optional)

¼ cup orange juice

Directions:

Combine the strawberry layer ingredients in a blender until smooth.  Pour mixture into glass. Rinse out blender and blend the banana layer ingredients. Gently pour on top of the strawberry layer. Garnish with a strawberry or banana slice.
