Ingredients
1 pound of ground beef
1½ teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika powder
½ teaspoon crushed red peppers
½ cup cilantro, chopped
2 small tomatoes, chopped
½ cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon oil
1 small/medium onion, sliced and separated
1 bell pepper (red), cut into thin strips
1 bell pepper (green), cut into thin strips
Directions
- In a medium pan over medium high heat, brown beef. Drain fat and return to heat.
- Add cumin, garlic, chili, paprika, red peppers and lemon juice. Stir until combined, simmer and set aside.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onion and bell peppers in hot oil until soft, 5 to 10 minutes.
- Combine with beef mixture, cilantro and tomatoes and cook until combined
