Ingredients

1 ½ cup of shredded cabbage

½ cup shredded carrot

1 small apple, unpeeled and chopped

¼ cup raisins or dried cranberries (optional)

2 tablespoons non-fat plain yogurt

2 tablespoons low-fat mayonnaise

1 tablespoon lemon juice

½ teaspoon sugar

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Combine carrots, apples, and raisins or cranberries in a medium bowl.
  2. Mix the yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, and sugar in a small bowl.
  3. Add yogurt sauce to the cabbage mixture and toss to blend.
  4. Chill and serve.
