Change up your traditional steamed veggies with this recipe! Lemon juice adds an extra zing without extra calories.
1 pound cauliflower florets (approx. one head)
¼ cup lemon juice (1-2 medium lemons)
Salt and pepper to taste
- Place cauliflower florets in a steamer basket, then put steamer basket in a saucepan filled with 1 inch water.
- Bring water to a boil, cover and steam until tender, 6-8 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving dish, add lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste.
- Mix gently and serve!
