Buy fresh blueberries when they are in season and less expensive. Wash and freeze them on a flat surface. Pour blueberries into a Ziploc freezer bag and freeze. Pour out the amount of blueberries as you need them. This is a great way to enjoy ‘fresh’ blueberries all year!
Ingredients:
1 cup of frozen blueberries
½ cup steamed broccoli
1 cup 100% cranberry juice
½ cup fat-free plain yogurt
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add strawberries or blackberries for an additional burst of nutrition.
